Viecha Naturálnych Vinárov is focused only on Slovak natural wines. Yes, they cost a bit more — but you’re paying for small-batch bottles made with minimal intervention, where the grape and the place actually show up in the glass. Still in the Old Town — inside the beautiful old market hall, Stará tržnica — you can taste Slovak natural bottles with plenty of snacks that won’t let you leave too early. Na zdravie (cheers).
Tip from the locals:
On weekends, reserve because terrace tables go fast. If you’re not deep into wine, just say what you usually like (light / fruity / dry) and let them choose — they’re good at it. Grab olives/chips for the table and try one glass “safe” + one glass weird. That’s the fun here.
